Coevolving.com originated as a blog shared by some like-minded practitioners working at the intersection of information technology and business: David Ing, Doug McDavid and Martin Gladwell.
In late 2006, by mutual agreement, we put the blog onto hiatus. Shortly thereafter, David Ing reactivated the blog as his professional persona (apart from the photoblogging at daviding.com). There’s more about David Ing in a professional about page, as well as a personal about page.
In mid-2007, Doug McDavid started blogging at dougmcdavid.com (which has now become dormant). As of 2009, he was blogging at enterprisology.com/blog. Doug passed away in 2020.
At the founding of this blog (in 2006), the key contributors were all employees of IBM, spread across three different countries. The postings on this site reflect the personal viewpoints of each author, and don’t necessarily represent IBM’s positions, strategies or opinions.
